On-Going R & D Programs.

Organizational Analysis Corporation has been actively involved in the research and development of management theory, applications, techniques, methodologies for over sixteen years.

This part of the OAC business activities is chaired by Jan Griebe, Ph.D., who is the author of The Theory of Missions™, ZEN and Applications of MISSION DESIGN, Mission Chronicles, and several other books and publications.

Our internal R&D provides an avenue to continually enhance our capabilities in understanding the underlying dynamics associated with intent based systems.  We feel certain that our R&D program for management sciences will continue to contribute next generation technologies for many years to come.

Current research areas include:

  • Studies in shifts in value ratios between competing elements of the mission system.

  • Exploration into the initiators associated with the self-replicating process.

  • Further characterization of the four major operating systems.

  • Further characterization of the Life Stages of Missions.

Those interested in staying abreast of OAC's R&D effort can do so by Registering with us and providing a description of the areas of management sciences that are most interesting to you.  The results of our R&D efforts will be summarized periodically as articles in our quarterly newsletter, Mission Chronicles, and in other types of informational venues.  Only those registered with us will be notified of such releases, will have access to this information, and will thus have available to them the most current management thinking and strategies.

The January 2001 issue of Mission Chronicles contains a conversational discussion of some of the features of mission, vision, set-points, system dynamics, aging dynamics, and structural dynamics as described in The Theory of Missions™.   The topics in Mission Chronicles in the future will be broad scope and address contemporary  management issues, including topics and issues submitted to us.
