Methodology Development and Assessment

Over the period of more than nine months, OAC supported a large technical services company in the development of its proprietary methodology utilized in a very comprehensive consulting program. This program was focused at supporting companies enhance performance of their organizations in four distinct areas that were compatible with the strengths of the client organization. OAC was responsible for developing the Management Standards of Excellence, some of the overall integrated methodology, and participating with the team on the first application of the program.

Methodology to Restructure the Engineering Function

This project involved developing a methodology to be used to restructure the entire engineering function within a large operating utility. With the present outside engineering services exceeding $130M per year, the project was directed toward reducing the costs of these services by considering alternates including developing a larger in-house engineering function. Structure and organization of the new function were considered and a transition plan and timetable for the transition were developed.
