Senior Staff

M. S. has more than thirty-five years experience in a broad range of management and leadership positions in the private and public sectors. Activities include environmental management, clean-up and restoration, conduct of operations, project management, fiscal and strategic planning, and development/application of new technologies. Positions include Manager, Rocky Flats Field Office, DOE; Deputy Manager, Savannah River Operations Office; Area Manager, Western Area Power Administration; Deputy Assistant Administrator, Regulations and Allocations, Federal Energy Administration; and Regional Director Of Public Affairs, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He has a B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, M.A.C. from the University of Pennsylvania, Post-graduate studies in Public Administration and Political Science, and attended the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Dr. L. A. R. has more than 30 years in providing government/industry with support/assistance in analyzing the effectiveness of their organizational units, organizational structures, and management systems; preparing strategic and subordinate implementation plans to define and achieve their goals; identifying organizational realignments to improve performance; preparing mission and function statements to define organization relationships and communicate management expectations; and defining, developing and implementing office management systems including operating policies, procedures and protocols. Positions held include; Manager Battelle Energy Systems Group, Manager Business Development, Senior Program Manager, and others for Battelle Memorial Institute. His education includes a B.S. from Drexel Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. from Cornell University; the Senior Executive Program in National and International Security, Harvard University; and the Senior Executive Management Program, Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

E. M. H., P.E. has more than forty years experience in management including executive levels at electric utilities, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the Department of Energy where he had overall responsibilities for management and support activities including operations, budget, planning, training, engineering, maintenance, and administration. Positions held include Research Associate, Management Systems Laboratories and Faculty, Virginia Polytechnic Institute; General Manager, Georgia Power Company; Director Site Operations, Florida Power Corp.; Division Director, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission; and Director, Region IV, NRC. His educational background includes a B.S. from University of Chattanooga, graduate studies at the Catholic University of America, attended the Federal Executive Institute, and is a registered Professional Engineer in electrical, quality, and nuclear engineering.

B. K. G. has more than thirty-three years with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. Experience includes project management, engineering management, construction, operation, decommissioning, design and licensing basis reconstitution, probabilistic risk assessment, quality programs, emergency preparedness, team inspection management, process reengineering, and safety conscious work environment. He received the NRC Senior Executive Award in each of the last ten years at NRC and served an NRC Executive Sabbatical as Visiting Fellow at the Battelle Seattle Human Affairs Research Centers. He is currently on the American Nuclear Society Board of Directors, is an ANS Fellow, served as Technical Program Chair, received the ANS Leadership Award, and others. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Washington, and studied graduate courses in Engineering Administration at George Washington University.

A. A. H. has more than thirty years experience in management and technical services, strategies for business growth, financial planning, capitalization, and bid and proposal development for Fortune 500 Companies. Positions held include Vice President Business Development, BNFL Instruments; National Accounts Manager, Government Services, Nuclear Fuel Services; Vice President, Advanced Technology Applications; Director of Technology Transfer, Martin Marietta Energy Systems; and, Senior marketing Analyst, Babcock and Wilcox. He holds a B.A. degree in Business, Economics and Political Science.
